Tailoring For Breakfast: Beginners How To Sew Knickers

here’s an opportunity to learn something extremely fun and niche!

join us for a 3 hour workshop experience where practical skills meet creativity.

in the first half of the session, you’ll learn the basics of operating a sewing machine; including how to set it up, master key stitches, and explore sewing techniques.

in the second half, you'll have the choice between making a thong or bikini knicker and will be shown how to put your new skills to use!  arrive 10 minutes before your chosen time slot to settle in and get comfy! with all materials and tools provided, this workshop is perfect for both beginners and seasoned sewists. you’ll leave with a knicker made by you and the confidence to keep creating with a sewing machine. 

you’ll learn:

• sew with stretch fabrics

• master the zigzag stitch

• understand key sewing terminology

• attach lingerie elastic for a professional finish

• how to attach a bow

fabrics: cotton and lace, cotton and mesh or full cotton

each participant will have one sewing machine allocated and provided for them. however, if you’d like to learn on your own machine, you’re welcome to bring it along (just let me know in advance (via the instant chat, email or Instagram DM)
