Tailoring For Breakfast: Beginners Intro to Using a Sewing Machine

this is your sign to learn a new fun and rewarding hobby!

join us for a workshop experience where you will learn a new life skill! you’ll learn the basics of operating a sewing machine; including how to set it up, master key stitches, and explore sewing techniques. all materials and tools provided, this workshop is perfect for beginners who are wanting to get into sewing. you’ll leave feeling confident to use a sewing machine and have the skill  to keep creating your own sewing projects.

each participant will have one sewing machine allocated and provided for them. however, if you’d like to learn on your own machine, you’re welcome to bring it along (just let me know in advance when you fill out the pre workshop form. 

you’ll learn:

• how to thread the machine

• how to thread the bobbin 

• understand key sewing terminology

• how to sew a zig zag stitch

• how to sew a basic seam

please note in this workshop we will not be creating any projects, just learning how to use a sewing machine.
